At least 23 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air raids on Gaza since dawn, including 21 in Gaza City, according to sources.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to meet US President Donald Trump at the White House, where Washington is expected to present a proposal aimed at halting the war.
Since October 2023, Israel’s offensive on Gaza has killed more than 66,000 people and wounded over 168,000, with thousands still feared trapped under the rubble. In Israel, 1,139 people were killed and around 200 taken captive during the October 7 attacks.
