Israeli forces strike shelters in northern Gaza shortly after the UN delivers aid
The United Nations reports that Israel has permitted only one aid mission into northern Gaza this month. However, shortly after aid was distributed, Israeli forces allegedly attacked the shelters, forcing people to flee.
The UN's aid chief informed the Security Council that the situation in Gaza is displaying actions "reminiscent of the gravest international crimes," while Israel has dismissed warnings of potential famine in the region as "dishonest" and "slanderous."
