How Gaza's education has been impacted by Israel's war

• Since October 7, 2023, almost 630,000 school children in Gaza have been deprived of their right to an education. 
• Today was scheduled to be the first day of school for 58,000 pupils.
•  It was impossible for 39,000 students to take their high school finals.
•  Israeli assaults have claimed the lives of around 25,000 youngsters, 10,000 of whom were students.
•  307 public school buildings have been destroyed, or around 90% of them.
