UN suspends aid as Israeli tanks approach Deir el-Balah

 

• Israeli tanks move toward Deir el-Balah in central Gaza as Israeli aircraft strike the nearby Maghazi refugee camp, killing three Palestinians.
• The United Nations has announced that it must suspend aid operations in Gaza after Israel ordered a mass evacuation of Deir el-Balah. The UN had established its operations center there after relocating from Rafah following the Israeli ground invasion earlier this year.
