Israel’s genocidal campaign in Gaza persists, marking two years since the war began
Deadly Israeli airstrikes have continued to devastate Gaza as the conflict enters its second year.
Representatives from Israel, Hamas, and mediating nations have convened in Egypt to deliberate on U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposed plan to end the war.
Since Friday the day Trump urged Israel to stop its bombing campaign at least 104 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces.
Overall, Israel’s assault on Gaza has claimed more than 67,160 lives and left 169,679 wounded since October 2023, with thousands more believed to be trapped beneath the rubble.
During the October 7, 2023, attacks, 1,139 people were killed in Israel and around 200 others were taken captive.
Two years into the war on Gaza, its people continue to endure an unending nightmare.
Over this time, the very foundations of normal life have vanished no returns to homes, no rebuilding, and no signs of recovery.
What Gazans feel now goes beyond grief; it’s a state of lasting disorientation.
Lives once defined by weddings, schools, and harvests are now measured by the number of airstrikes that fall each day.
For two years, Palestinians in Gaza have lived through a relentless cycle of despair, lining up daily just to secure bread and water.
They now look to the ongoing negotiations, hoping they might finally bring a real and lasting breakthrough to end the suffering.
