Israel carries out a wave of pre-dawn strikes on Palestinians in Gaza

At least 25 Palestinians were killed during a series of Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip on Saturday morning, including a strike that destroyed a family home in the central Nuseirat refugee camp.

At the United Nations General Assembly, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a defiant address, seeking to justify Israel’s ongoing assault on Gaza while vowing to “finish the job.”

Meanwhile, Israel’s ground offensive in Gaza’s largest city is intensifying, leaving hundreds of thousands of Palestinians trapped, cut off from food, and under constant bombardment.

Since October 2023, Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 65,549 Palestinians and wounded 167,518 others, with thousands more feared buried under rubble. In Israel, 1,139 people were killed during the October 7, 2023 attacks, and around 200 others were taken captive.
