Israel intensifies strikes on Gaza as negotiations persist, while an eighth infant tragically succumbs to freezing temperatures
Hamas and Israel are engaged in negotiations over the terms of a potential ceasefire. According to Hamas, they have approved a list of 34 captives, provided by Israeli authorities, to be released during the first phase of the agreement.
However, Israel has denied this assertion. Meanwhile, Israeli forces continue their airstrikes in Gaza, reportedly killing at least six Palestinians in two separate attacks on northern Gaza City overnight.
