Kashmiris to Mark October 27 as Black Day
Posters invite world attention to plight of oppressed Kashmiri people
Srinagar: Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and across the world will observe October 27 as Black Day to invite the attention of the world towards the impending catastrophe due to continued illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by India.
It was on 27th October in 1947 when Indian troops invaded Jammu and Kashmir and occupied it in total violation of the Partition Plan of the subcontinent and against the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement in Srinagar urged the people in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Azad Kashmir and around the world to observe Black Day on Tuesday to sensitize the world about the urgency to resolve the Kashmir dispute to avert an untoward situation that may have disastrous impact on global peace.
