The Israeli military carried out an overnight strike on the Kfarkela area in southern Lebanon, saying it had targeted a loaded launcher that was ready to be fired, Al Jazeera reported.

The military said the launcher was located north of the so-called Yellow Line it has established in southern Lebanon.

The attack took place despite Israel's agreement to a 10-day ceasefire in Lebanon.
