Since dawn, at least 11 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes across the territory, including seven in Gaza City, according to medical sources.

France and Saudi Arabia are preparing to host dozens of world leaders to rally support for a two-state solution. Several countries are expected to officially recognize a Palestinian state  a step likely to provoke sharp reactions from Israel and the United States.

Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 65,283 people and injured 166,575 since October 2023, with thousands more believed to be trapped beneath the rubble. In Israel, 1,139 people were killed during the October 7 attacks, and around 200 others were taken captive.
