As 38 Aid Seekers Die in Gaza Strikes, Israelis Rally for Ceasefire Agreement

Palestinians mourn loved ones killed in Israeli attacks at al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City on Saturday

Israeli forces have continued their relentless assault on Gaza, with at least 116 Palestinians reported killed on Saturday alone. Among the casualties were 38 individuals slain near food aid distribution points in Rafah.

According to medical staff at Gaza City’s al-Shifa Hospital, two more Palestinians  including a 35-day-old infant  have died from malnutrition. A U.S.-based Muslim organization has accused Israel of "deliberately starving" Palestinians in Gaza, alleging the campaign is supported by billions of dollars in American taxpayer-funded weapons and aid.

Meanwhile, tens of thousands of demonstrators have taken to the streets in Tel Aviv, calling on U.S. President Donald Trump to broker a ceasefire agreement and secure the release of approximately 50 captives still held in Gaza.

The ongoing Israeli military campaign has so far resulted in the deaths of at least 58,765 Palestinians and injuries to over 140,485 others. In contrast, the October 7, 2023 attacks on Israel left 1,139 people dead and more than 200 taken hostage.
