President Donald Trump has announced that U.S. forces carried out “highly successful” airstrikes targeting Iranian nuclear facilities located in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. He issued a stern warning against any form of retaliation, stating: “Remember, there are many targets left.”
Iran’s Foreign Minister condemned the U.S. strikes as “outrageous,” describing the targeted facilities as “peaceful nuclear installations” and warning of “everlasting consequences.”
Meanwhile, an Iranian missile barrage targeting central and northern Israel has reportedly injured at least 20 people.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed that there have been no indications of elevated radiation levels off-site in the aftermath of the strikes.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lauded Trump’s “bold decision,” emphasizing that the operation was carried out in “full coordination” between the U.S. and Israel.
According to Iranian sources, more than 400 people have been killed and over 3,056 wounded since the onset of Israel’s military campaign on June 13. In contrast, Iranian attacks on Israel have resulted in at least 24 deaths.
