Tehran vows to respond to American attacks as Trump issues regime change warning
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has vowed to punish “the Zionist enemy” in his first public remarks following the joint US-Israeli attacks on Iranian territory.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has alluded to the possibility of regime change in Tehran, stating, “If the current Iranian regime cannot make Iran great again, why shouldn’t there be a regime change?”
As hostilities between Israel and Iran continue to escalate, the international community watches closely for Iran’s response to the US led bombings. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared, “The Americans must face consequences for their aggression.”
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported no abnormal levels of radiation following US strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
According to Iranian officials, over 400 people have been killed and more than 3,000 wounded since Israel launched its offensive on June 13. In contrast, Iranian attacks on Israel have resulted in at least 24 fatalities.
