At least 25 Palestinians seeking humanitarian aid were shot and killed by Israeli forces at a food distribution site near the so-called Netzarim Corridor, south of Gaza City, according to medical sources.

In a separate incident in southern Gaza, an Israeli drone strike targeted a tent sheltering displaced persons in the al-Mawasi area near the town of al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis, killing at least four Palestinians, according to a Nasser Hospital source.

Meanwhile, Israel has deported four of the 12 activists who were aboard the Gaza-bound aid vessel Madleen, including prominent Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg. The remaining eight activists have been taken into custody after refusing to leave Israel voluntarily.

In response to ongoing violence in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, the governments of the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and Norway have imposed sanctions on two far-right Israeli ministers, Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, accusing them of inciting extremist violence against Palestinians.

According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, the ongoing Israeli military campaign in Gaza has resulted in at least 54,981 Palestinian deaths and 126,920 injuries.

The conflict was triggered by the Hamas-led attacks on Israel on October 7, 2023, in which approximately 1,139 people were killed and more than 200 others were taken hostage.
