Israeli airstrikes have killed at least 85 people in Gaza since early Thursday, according to medical sources, casualties continuing to rise amid ongoing bombardments.

Gaza’s Health Ministry reports that 29 children and elderly individuals who died in recent days have been classified as victims of "starvation-related deaths," with thousands more at risk of severe hunger.

Meanwhile, Israel has carried out air raids on towns in southern and eastern Lebanon, killing at least one person. These are among the most intense attacks since a ceasefire was established with Hezbollah in November.

The ongoing Israeli offensive in Gaza has claimed the lives of at least 53,762 Palestinians and injured 122,197 others, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. The Government Media Office has updated the death toll to over 61,700, noting that thousands of people still buried under rubble are presumed dead.
